Headed to the Mountains with the Family!

We pray this blog finds you doing well. Could you please keep us in prayer as we take our children with us to Quiche this Thursday through Sunday. Our entire family will be doing some home visits, along with visiting our feeding programs in the mountains. It usually takes around 4.5 hours to travel there and the roads are very curvy in the mountians. We will be going up close to 8,000 ft. elevation and can be very rugid and steep. We will have the pleasure of seeing our sponsor child Alex and his family. Alex is deaf and mute and we are really looking forward to visiting him in his home in Zacaulpa, espcially our children. This will be the first time our kids have met him. It will also be the first time Seth and Asher have been to our mountain programs and this may also be the first time that the kids in our mountain programs have ever seen american kids their age. The boys have been so excited about buying food, gifts, and supplies for some the families will be visiting. Please pray for our safety, endurance, strength, and health. Endurance and strength because being this high up in altitude and walking often more than an hour can be draining. Thanks for believing with us for open doors for the the gospel to be preached and a great experience for our family as we advance the gospel of the kingdom in Guatemala!
